I have been very impressed by Muzys. but unfortunatly I only have the demo version. can Muton be consideres as the "new" Muzys ?

Probably, I think so. Well, Muton is all brand new code, so Muzys will probably stay at it's current status. Muton is being developed by Jo, the same person that deved Muzys. He seems to no longer own Muzys, we think.

now that you are back on the scene, jo, what are the chances of a person buying a copy of muzys 3?
i really wanted it, and was just a couple days too late. It was perfect IMHO, and i don't want a different one. I want Myzys3

is Luna more or less powerfull than Muzys ? Muzys is GREAT . the pianoroll edit is the ONLY piano roll fully usefull. the only weakness of Muzys seems to be : no DFD wave

There is no real comparison to be made between Luna and Muzys. Muzys was a mature (some would say dated, I suppose) application that had developed a large array of highly powerful features. Luna is a brand new, easy to use application designed primarily to be fun to use.
Of course, Computer Music seem to have decided to use LUNA to replace Computer Muzys. Probably a sensible option - Computer Muzys was very limited in comparison with Muzys itself. LUNA will have about the same feature set as Computer Muzys, subject to whatever restrictions Jo wants to impose. (LUNA Free is more restricted than Computer Muzys is - but then, Future have paid Jo for Computer Muzys, so the user gets something for that... I wait to see what the CM version of LUNA will do.)
