I'm still in the process of finishing my new "Nord" Skin. I decided to rearrange the interface which requires a lot more work with the oms file which is why it's taking a while. I'm currently about 70% finished but I won't have time to work on this again until Monday at the earliest.

Also, I'm currently having a problem with the skinning because I can't get the A and B pitch setting dials to show up after moving them. Here's the code I've written for the dials, maybe Fuzzpilz could take a look and tell me if it's my fault or a bug? All the dials except A and B work fine.

@control
src=ezeeskin2nord/knob20_lb.png
name=knob20lb
type=knob
size=20,20
frames=32

@placement
control=knob20lb
action=Tune_C
pos=15,100

@placement
action=Tune_D
pos=61,100

@placement
action=Tune_E
pos=107,100

@placement
action=Tune_F
pos=130,100

@placement
action=Tune_G
pos=176,100

@placement
action=Tune_A
pos=199,100

@placement
action=Tune_B
pos=245,100

The dials corresponding to the black keys work fine and use a different image file which is why they aren't listed.

Hmm, without having seen the rest, it looks like you may have the x coordinates wrong - would 222 for A and 268 for B be more correct?

Post

Have you made sure there's nothing between the G and A knobs? Put the "control=knob20lb" under the @placement in A and B just to be on the safe side.

I think Fuzzpilz is right A and B are hidden by G# and A# they are at the same coordinates !

Yeager

BTW This skin is going to be nice: 33.3% bigger knobs as far as I can tell from the oms.. :)

:oops:

I think I must have gone code blind. Thanks Fuzzpilz, just needed a fresh pair of eyes!

Here's a "work in progress" pic of the new "Nord" Skin. Although this isn't really anything like a Nord anymore other than in colour choices. There will be other colours too but the "Nord" comes first. There's a couple of mistakes in this version and a some bits are different in the final version but it gives a good idea of the basic style and new layout. :)

I like how you've rearranged the workspace ezeeB. Nice work. :)

A well organized skin. I'm one of the few who actually uses the original, and apart from an earlier one I had considered, this is the skin I will be changing to. I like the way everything has been grouped together...and coloured to match, as I had suggested to someone earlier, for ease of location. Looking forward to this one for sure. CHEEEEEEERSS!

great work ezee! all is well organized and easy to relate...can you reorganize impOscar's layout next??? :hihi:

I agree completely! I especially like the workflow enhancements and the arrows that point the signal flow through the synth.
