I am trying LUNA for first time with latest beta5.
I am using midi keyboard with 16 channel.
I imported a midi file (made in cakewalk) with separate channels in project which is midi type1.
it could not transmit SysEx message(which I guess is not yet implemented).
It opens all channels in one single track. that's ok. played..No sound!
after a few second I realised it is stacked on each other so dragged all files in separate tracks.
I created new midi instrument. In the channel box It was already channel-1 and assigned to first track. Woah! my keyboard played first channel instrument.
Ok! created another midi instrument to play my drum track. entered channel-10 in channel box and assigend to drum track. But It played channel-1 instrument only in that track.
I created more midi instruments with different channel numbers but it played only first channel instrument in all tracks.
am I doing something wrong?

Tools are tools, they don't produce anything...

Yes I have done that. I created midi instruments with different channel numbers and assigned them to tracks. But It is not playing instruments other than midi channel-1.> DiGiT < wrote:yes you must assign players to your parts, each individually.

Thanks for the heads up on getting midi 1 files unstacked. Was wondering how to get that.
Wish list = that these files arrive unstacked ready to have their players assigned. Also the muzys way of having a general midi player assigned based on the sysex info was nice for poorly defined tracks so as to allow a start point for assigning a player.
