Dual-core and Uniwire

Can I please hear from any users who are running Uniwire to a dual-core machine. I'm shopping for a laptop as DAW. Does the second core give any other benefits if I use a host that isn't mutithreaded (Tracktion/Live5),or if I disable multicore support? Muse say you can instantiate only on odd/even instruments in a host like Cubase with multicore support enabled. Does anyone have any personal experience of this? You see Ableon Live 6 will also soon offer multicore support and the available dual-core notebooks seem to have better overall specs/ value for $$. Thanks.
