Actually I found that for some reason most stand alone plugs do not work as efficient in stand alone mode as when they are used as plugs.
I would try it inside Chainer or Tracktion.

The Chainer demo has no time limit, it's a great tool to try out plugs that misbehave in other setups. (you just can't save your setup)

not sure if you saw the post from IK support in this thread a couple pages back, but - Email: jason.williams@ikmultimedia.com if you haven't rec'd your email and he'll tell you what you need to do.

i never rec'd mine either, nor did a couple others and he emailed us all back fairly quickly with instructions.

its STILL not up... I Don't understand why its such a big job to put it up that they can't just gett on with it

Edit: Though i guess it is the middle of the night in america at the moment. I SUPPOSE they can do it when they get up!

It wouldn't be such a big deal to me, except that IK Support posted earlier in this thread that it should be posted yesterday. I don't mind waiting so much, just please don't tell me you're probably going to do something then not do it. I guess the wording say's it all though. "It 'should' be posted". But even so, a follow up post saying you guys got swamped and can't do it till later this week would be appreciated. It just seems like the logical thing to do, especially after all the previous release date let downs and such. No ill feelings. I love IK products. I'm just venting my frustrations.

On the other hand, maybe i wasn't really IK Support who posted that.

I actually dont beleive they did release amplitube 2, its all one big lie!! I have no proof, putte has been bribed into telling every one it has been released... its a conspiracy I tell you!! they're watching us right now, laughing!!!
