don't let that stop you...who knows? You may be as "lucky" as me! I've yet to see pop up...and bear in mind- this thread wouldn't be over 60 pages long if there weren't *something* to it...and BELIEVE me- it's very niceM.Dot wrote:I haven't downloaded it so don't worry.
Who put them there? The place you made it?

I love the pop-ups, Some have great ideas for the basis of new songs. It's a bit like a very oblique er.. oblique.

I have'nt got that message on my screen, but after i have pushed randomize a few times my pc hangs & a hard reboot is the only way to make my computer usable again.
I don't know why this happens, but my guess is that i have secured my comnputer from netsend commands & other stuff.

I'd say not because we are talking about a benign VSTi here that throws up the odd, cool bit of prose from the dev who built it in order to put a smile on the face of the person who's using it, not some spam-spewing program-a-saurus that will infect your PC with code so insidious that it will likely cause the downfall of Western civilisation....D-Fusion wrote:I have'nt got that message on my screen, but after i have pushed randomize a few times my pc hangs & a hard reboot is the only way to make my computer usable again.

However, I have on occasion when running Oatmeal in MiniHost had a similar problem - if I click the random button too quickly, it will hang MiniHost. There is, of course, a simple solution to this!
Oatmeal is a great synth - combined with Ezeeboogie's big Nord skin, it blows me away!!

I love the synth for all the options i have (and the sound & Skins Offcourse).
And i don't think that there is something spooky in the coding, but i hope that the randomize button crash can be fixed
Until then i just have to create sounds Manually

Yea more than being visually pleasing, Ezeeboogie's skin makes Oatmeal finally *usable*. It has become my "reference skin" (Thanks for improving colors & layout btw).
I think it brilliantly demonstrates the whole idea that a GUI is tremendously important, not only to bring useless eye-candy stuff but to make a tool much more easily *accessible*, more appealing to spend hours with.
Oatmeal is incredibly versatile and capable, more than Synth1,you cannot categorize it in a strict manner, you can do probably everything from analog to FM, but so far the interface was really unattractive, but thanx to Ezeeboogie, now the issue is fixed.
