Meffy two things I would just ask you out of thin air, but have you tried another browser and are cookies enabled?
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

Cookies enabled yes, another browser no. I hate to use IE for anything but if nothing else works I'll give it a shot.
Have you got past the authorization Web form without seeing an error? If so, what browser are you using? FF1.5 here.

She's cute, you'd like her.
I tried going through the main IK "Software key management" Web page instead of using the Product Authorization Wizard and this time it worked. No idea why the PAW doesn't seem to work. Maybe it was just a temporary glitch and it would've worked this time around, or maybe not. *shrug* Doesn't matter, I'm ready to go now.

I had the same error and did not get past it. What I did: I just copied the digital signature (or was it digital key? whatever...) that showed up there in one of these steps, logged into the IK web site and the user are there (using my standard browser, without the wizard), used the 'request new authorization' field (or whatever it is called) and inserted the digital signature there. The system spit out the authorization, which I copied.Meffy wrote:Cookies enabled yes, another browser no. I hate to use IE for anything but if nothing else works I'll give it a shot.

In the installer, I went two (or three?) steps back, where you can choose 'I already have an authorization', and then in the next step, I could insert the digital signature and the authorization. Clumsy way to do it, but works.
Hope this helps!

Now back to AT2: Sounds wonderful - I had some fun sending all kinds of signals through it. Works even with drums...
However, is it just me, or is this thing a bit buggy (Logic on Tiger here)? Sometimes switching presets can take ages, and sometimes audio just stops... Anybody else having these problems?

Can't wait to get home and try it out
Isn't that too poor for such a huge plugin?
I mean, Guitar Rig is far more BIG in terms of data...

being on 10.3.9 here with Logic 7.1.1 i've had one regular crash during musicmaking due to amplitube, though when shutting down Logic it crashes.
the crashlog entry is:
Thread 0 Crashed:
0 <<00000000>> 0x1756d0ec 0 + 0x1756d0ec
1 com.apple.logic.pro 0x00005aec 0x1000 + 0x4aec
2 com.apple.logic.pro 0x00005918 0x1000 + 0x4918
no mention of AT2 or that iSync key,
though i never saw that crashlogentry before i installed AT2.
well, not a big brainer ..

@tq: Thank you! We got to the same place via two different roads. :-)
To Cakewalk users: When I opened AT2 in Sonar 5 I got an empty GUI. The VST interface set its dimensions to 0 x 0 pixels. When I changed the properties of AT2 (in Sonar menu: Tools | VST Configuration Wizard) to the correct size, 850 x 510 pixels, all was right with the world.

Well, this certainly makes glorious trash out of a nice clean Lounge Lizard Rhodes. Now for some SampleTank gee-tar, and my really clumsy keyboard-guitar playing. Shame y'all aren't here, you'd have SUCH a laugh!

Had the same problem, so I copied and pasted all the info manually (from within user area request authorization screen) and it worked fine. Basically, dont use the automatic.Meffy wrote:
This appears in my browser (in huge type, white on black) after I choose "Register On Line" from AT2's Product Authorization Wizard, then submit the filled-in Web form. Does Amplitube have a broken PAW? Or am I doing something wrong? (Can't see anything I could be doing wrong, but if there's a dumb way to screw up I'll find it and do it.)IK Registration System Problem.

Have other people got past this step successfully?
