I have no interest in running Windows for music-related aps, but since it is now an option, wow! Wonder how long until we can run X and XP side-by-side at the same time?
Fruity Loops & Logic together forever?

Leopard. 2007.

I think if you were running Logic and you loaded Fruity Loops, Logic would automatically quit in disgust... :D

Funny you mention that because even though I just got back in the Mac (and Logic) game I've been holding on to my PC because of FLStudio. FL is a brilliant for quickly getting ideas down. Where it falls down is in the arranging and audio editing departments IMHO. Its painless in FL to get a groove going and then export each track seperately to Logic. Now with boot camp available it'll be even easier.

Exciting times ahead :)

RE: Boot Camp

Do you like horror films? Believe me, you ain't seen nothin' as frightening as this slideshow. Warning: if you suffer from a weak heart condition you should not click on the following link. I particularly enjoyed the part where the fonts change. Then again, I like a good scare: http://www.flickr.com/photos/speedye/se ... 4282/show/

I must admit, that is a bit scary, it brings up many questions, I think overall tho it may be good for Apple sales, which will probably be good for us, jeez it's hard to keep up these days,

And please bring back OSXA, it's the best.

It would be nicer to go in the other direction, boot OS X on a non-apple.

God no, that would not be good for Apple, they won't allow that to happen, I can see that a lot of people would like to see this tho, But it just won't happen, Apple is still very much a hardware company, they want to bring people to use there hardware.

I agree, osxaudio is by far a better name than big blue lounge, why change it?

that seems to come up when you click a forums bookmark ... i guess the "forums being redeveloped' text is the bit that counts. If you cut off the rest of the url after the bigbluelounge.com bit, you get the "splash" page.

Because it won't be "OS X specific" anymore - it will be a big generic site without the helpful focus it had. OK, I'm being bitchy and judging it before it's even up, but the Mac focus WAS the draw for me. Strange to use the color BLUE - that suggests IBM to me, maybe bacause I'm an old fart!

Tell me about it! I have vague memories of a really bad game I had called "Bash Big Blue" when I first had a Mac in about '87.
