after some playing, I think the new envelope attack sounds great and works fine with old presets.pw wrote: 3. I am not sure about the faster attack. it is now more like the EVE ONE envelope- very very handy for electric pianos, organs and the raw waveforms, but the user has to adjust the attack for *some* ensemble type sounds that start at A=0 to prevent the note on 'hit'. Maybe something to consider with old preset compatability? I will check some and comment later.

Is it safe to create presets for EVE 2 or could a new version break compatibility?
Also - it would be nice to have the exact distortion module from EVE ONE. Maybe a Distortion 2 module or something? I really liked the 12-bit mode...

Hi,
sorry for the late reply,
yes you can create presets with the latest beta,
Distortion 2 maybe later, EVE 2 is closed for release so far

sorry for the delay on the EVE 2 release, but I want it to sound more than OK!, with a great default bank with new presets which should shine over any past ones,
so I'm working hard to bring EVE 2 package to a very pro level
please be patient,
thanks

In that case I'm happy to wait. Quality is everything.

So, Eve 2 gets bumped yet again for some flashy newcomer ?
Somehow I feel there's no real heart or commitment in this project...

no no, don't worry, Grand Electrix is not delaying EVE,
Aldo is working on its code and I'm working on EVE
Sunday I had to reinstall XP, an old worm from an old file
deleted most of my system DLLs,
so I lost some days on that, now it's Easter time here and one or two days go for that,
I love EVE and I'm caring for its quality as I wrote,
DK+ soon after EVE 2,
thanks
