I agree with everything you said except for this  I love the gui that Aleksey uses and of course as for quality there is nothing more to say, they rock..:)
Understand it wasn't a know but a suggestion to fine tune an already nice product. Every eye is different. I used to be in marketing for 10 years and have some understanding of "first impressions". Alexesey's interface seem a bit grainy to me - not bad but could be sharper - I've mentioned to him before about this and believe if he could fine tune them a bit his sales would go up. I also ounderstand this takes time and money.

not to question your marketing skills, but one has to wonder if he be better off spending his time and money creating new pluggins to keep up with an ever growing technology than making old products that are "not bad but could be sharper" and a proven seller look a little sharper. FWIW I really do not think too many people have decided against Voxengo for the gui, furthermore I bet it's safe to say that if there were some that did 50% were probably not going to buy it anyhow...

I'm not sure but did'nt Aleksey decide he would impliment changeable skins on future products?

I was no marketing expert but looks do play a part in some purchases for some people. All I was saying that if the looks were improved it might help sales. And yes, I wouldn't expect Alex to put a lot of money and time into it. Every improvement helps even if it were in the looks. I want to see Alex excel and grow. There is a balance in all this. I was not knocking his looks - just felt they could improve a bit.

He has mentioned it a few times, but luckily sound quality seems to be his top priority.

HOLY SHIT! I just had a look at what's a brewing at voxengo. http://www.voxengo.com/forum/ar/1253/

!!!! Mac plugins. Development shortcuts. code portability. Gui revisioning. VST 2.4 spec support. true 64 bit pipelines.

With all this it looks like Aleksey will have his hands full for a good long while. I remember him saying that Porting to mac takes awhile, hopefully he has all the hired help he needs because i'd hate to not get any added features and upgrades to existing products for a long time, I'm like a kid at Christmas time when waiting for his releases.Judgeing from his "to do list" His plate really looks full!
