hmmm ... i don't know anything about making soundfonts , it would be cool to have a VSTi penny whistle tho'... there are some melodica samples on my www that would also make a cool VST if anyone's up for itspacedad wrote: i was wondering how,or if it's possible to play these kind of samples legato,so that the second note would resume after the initial attack/blow?
can you do it with soundfonts? or can only some samplers do it?
i was hoping it was possible in sf2 so a vsti could be done. any samplist experts know the best way?
cool ... please may i have a copy of any soundfonts/vst you make with my samples? There are some piano samples on my site that also may be useful ...spacedad wrote:thanks for replying mr.controlcentre.i have asked at on the modular page and got some tips for doing it in se.so soon as i get chance i'll try some things out.(thanks for ofering up the meleodica samples,v kind.)
I was thinking of throwing something together in SE maybe I'll get on that sooner now. Also I was try to put together a SoundFont but was having trouble finding a good loop point for sustains.there are some melodica samples on my www that would also make a cool VST if anyone's up for it
tbh i will probably use my own flutes/whistles,just cos it's more personel.i think it will be good for my little boy to have virtual versions of instruments that we have in the house.but i surely would send you anything i make with your's.maybe once i do the first one it will be a lot easier to do more.thecontrolcentre wrote:cool ... please may i have a copy of any soundfonts/vst you make with my samples?
