Comme on Rene, hype us up ! We're asking for it. But don't just say it will be amazing, tell us more about the remaining steps instead/estimated date of release. If the amp has been won it means you have your website done, right ?

I'd like to offer my congratulations to Dustik! The guy is a legend.
I was starting to have doubts about Midiworks, but now that I know Dustik is involved, the integrity of this enterprise is beyond question.
How Dustik had time to design the website, what with his obsessive posting on the KVR forums, I'll never understand!
Bravo!

I say, Watson!
Something strange is afoot in these parts; my intuition has drawn two things to my attention. Allow me to elucidate:
Dustik has never posted on this board, not once. On this we all agree, correct?
Why would Midiworks refer to him as 'Dustik' as opposed to 'Norman Price', or 'Spanish Bob from prison'?
My name is Sherlock. On this forum I'm known as ChampionRabbit, but if I had contacted one of you before I ever made a post here (demanding that you pay huge sums of money for the return of your pet turtle for example) then you would have said "Some bastard called Sherlock has kidnapped my turtle!" not "ChampionRabbit has kidnapped my turtle!". Nobody would know who the hell you were talking about, see?
My second point is more...circumstantial.
The thread is full of mysterious posters who had never posted previously, who have not posted anywhere but in relation to MW's posts and who always leap to the defence of MW.
A peculiar phenomenon, Watson.

Cool, a Non Existant Amp won by a Non Existant Person. Seriously Midiworks is just having us on. There never will be any amp.

You're absolutely correct ChampionRabbit.
The fact that this thread has gone on for 173 pages tells me, also, that we are addicted to KVR and this thread in particular, and that we need to get a life outside of our respective computer cubicles. I am not pointing any fingers at anyone except myself. I am the quiltiest one of us all, here.
My point? 173 pages and nada?

no...you're missing it....first I hope he's learned his lesson...however trying to teach him a lesson is not my main point...my point is that this kind of thing could spawn an idea in someone else's head that we are easy marks....after all this one guy took a long time, he kept stalling, yada yada and they still bought it....we could get in and out with our cash before they notice we ripped them off. Hopefully it will be let's not do what he did. By he, I do not mean just Rene, he's just the one in the hot seat now.Lunch Money wrote:Part of the strange obsession seems to be trying to correct or teach Midiworks' actions. I don't really think it's in your sphere of responsibility to do so. Therefore, doing so is your CHOICE, and an odd choice it is!

If we become complacent, we could be in trouble (I stress could)....I hope that Rene learns something, I would rather buy a product from a small developer and someone I know as opposed to the "big guys". But one can't help but think with each turn and twist, something isn't right. once fooled shame on you, twice fooled shame on me.
What if there are bugs? (and most of the time there is) Will it take until AT6 comes out to get them fixed? When I buy something that's a huge point with me, customer service and customer relations. I think he needs to grab the bull by the horns and do what it takes. Otherwise everyone will be watching and waiting to see what happens and what other people think. If he's not careful, everyone will be waiting and no one will be buying. FWIW when h released xmas tube I sent him a pm saying what a good business mve that was. Sadly he took one step forward and 3 steps back...

I dunno...I thought you had to design a website and the website is still exactly like the amp sim.

I guess there are many people who only read,
but never post here, so what !?
dustik made a very nice web design,
I like it, and I think you will like it too.
there had been only three or four entries to the contest but I am very happy with the result.
Again we are another step further...

Rene, one question for clarification if you don't mind. I clicked your sig, it brought me to the coming soon page, when I clicked that it brought me to the soundclick...my question is...are the demos on the page made with the amp sim that you plan on releasing?
