What about OPlat?
I always thought Orion had about the easiest midi learn of all the ones I tried anyway.
It's the main thing I miss since I mostly use Tracktion now.

I agree on Bidule, such a smooth implementation. Audiomulch, too, is simple to deal with.

Speaking about the "big boys", Logic 7 does this very well. It's a big step forward for me, as a former Cubase user. I was really surprised to find out that you can assign any knob on anything, including plugins, so easy and everything being done so elegantly by the host itself.
