Ivory install crash

I am having a very strange and yet repeatable issue trying to copy the Ivory samples to my Receptor HD. No matter which sample file I drag over, Receptor freezes once it reaches 1.27gigs and there is an audible click from the receptor unit and the front panel becomes frozen. This happens on all the files that I have tried so far. I have gotten this same behavior over my router set-up as well as going with a direct crossover connection.
I am running a Dual G4 1.25 and OS 10.3.9. I thought perhaps I would try and copy the files from my internal Mac installation instead of copying from the DVD's and I get the same result. I have downloaded all the appropriate files for the Ivory install so I don't think that I have missed anything there. It's as though there is a limit set somewhere on the size of the file that I can move into my unit. I have just gotten the receptor and it is quite possible I am just missing something but would really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance,

You need to use samba instead of AppleTalk.
Make sure Windows Networking is turned on in Receptor's SETUP. On the Mac, in the Finder use the "Go" menu and choose "Connect To Server..."
In the "Server Address:" field of the next dialog type:
where of course you would enter the name of your Receptor. You can also use the IP address, like this:

Dan,
Thanks for your post. Was hoping that this would fix the issue but unfortunately I get the same exact result. All is well until the file reaches1.28 gig then the Receptor freezes with an audible click from the unit and I can't finish copying the files over. This happens with every file of that size that I have tried. The front panel on the Receptor is completely frozen and I have to do the long power off to get the unit to come back to life. Any other thoughts?
Thanks in advance,

farhan,
I have been working with Rick there at Muse and we have as of today found the problem. I had a bad 1 gig ram strip that was causing all the strange behavior. Once we isolated that it has been smooth sailing from there.
I have to say even though it has been frustrating trying to find this problem, this has been the best tech support I have experienced.
Thanks,
Brian
