I'm kidding.

I know it's a Mudhoney track really...

AVOX duo's pitch changing is more sophisticated, and from what I remember AVOX duo's pitch tracking requires a quiet source input. It sounds to me like the pitch tracking wasn't working on your track because of the bleed I could hear in your track (at the end I heard something playing, maybe headphone bleed)?

DuosX is cool, but the "vocal timbre" knob on avox sounds infinitely better

i dont bother with the vocal timbre knob on anything, it sounds like an eternity of crap imho.

actually you're quite right....not the first time either ;)...but a couple notes...not an attack on Rene in any way...but he said that cloning throat would be tough when he made dousx...however the avox manual says that dou uses the same engine as throat...which throat is a fussy pluggin, but worth the time...the 5 points for the model throat are quite touchy... the global sliders for the model throat have gray areas in the middle...thats the furthest you should push them for correction and cleaning up...outside those areas are for special effects.

I also think that sybil is better at de-essing than voxformer, but not for the novice...voxformer is easier to use. (still need voxformer...love it)

dou and throat have voice range settings which includes instrument, I haven't tried it yet on instruments, but I'm thinking it might rock on pads...:)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
