Pretty cool, Bahgheera. Tell us about it. How many tracks, instances of Oatmeal? I hear one, maybe 2? Or 10?
I'm an Oatmeal fan, too. My only request would be a way to route the lfo's to amplifier volume or main volume, for tremolo on guitar sounding presets, which it does pretty good at.
I played with the randomizer for an hour last night. Once I get started I'm hooked.
Nice Track.

It's a nice synth and a nice track.
Where does one download the aforementioned Tim Conrardy presets, or any others for that matter?
Thanks,
John

Here you go, 2ndStringer. There should be some png's of new skins in there also. The manual explains all about the synth really well. (Well, mostlyBurnie wrote:Sorry everybody for being late, but KvR doesn't work well here, and didn't let me write on this forum, and i don't know why...
It seems to work now...
So, i have updated the package, one more time, with the new skins. Here it is :

Hello. New version.
Download.
New stuff: moved the waveform editors to the GUI, some MIDI stuff (additional CC assignments, sustain pedal support). Page support in the skinning system. Check the (finally somewhat updated) manual for details.
Old skins should still work, although it'll complain as it loads them and they'll be missing the new features. Hopefully the page support will help make updating them not too much of a pain.

SWEET JUMPING JEFFERSON, FUZZPILZ!!!! What have you done with the old Oatmeal. The new one sounds huge. Is it my imagination or have you redone something on the audio engine? It sounds incredible!!!
And thank you for making the waveform editor larger. It is perfect. The increased versatility raises the VSTI bar yet again.
I had been playing around with Chameleon, closed it, got online, saw your post, and tried the new Oatmeal. You absolutely blow Chameleon totally away.
I hereby nominate you for the post of "King of the VSTI's."

cool, thanks for the update, fuzzpilz.. this kept me awake once again though i should go to bed as i have to work tomorrow (errrm... today
).
but (i don't know if this is intended) in your default and large skin there are no editors for the lfos anymore.
cool thing, makes it feel more integrated.Fuzzpilz wrote:New stuff: moved the waveform editors to the GUI

R.A.W., it sounds like you have the wave editor window open , via one or the other of the oscillators. The LFO editors ar hidden in that case behind the wave editor. So right click in the wave editor window, and click on close. Voilla, you have the xy pad and the lfo's.
Or you can click on edit once or twice, just below the oscillators.
