It sounds different to me too, more headroom? livelier? I was amazed at some of my presets from build 35. The new build, 36-1, sounds more organic to me. The # of harmonics has been reduced from 128 (?) to 36 or something? That's fine with me. This one sounds great.thecontrolcentre wrote:it sounds different ... or does it play different?
i think it actually sounds even better ...
i like the new waveform display toothanks again fuzzpilz

that's not what i meant (i was aware of thatChocoLatteRabbit wrote:R.A.W., it sounds like you have the wave editor window open , via one or the other of the oscillators. The LFO editors ar hidden in that case behind the wave editor.
what i meant is this: when you click the "edit" button from the lfos you get no waveform editor anymore.

Weird... I haven't actually changed anything about the sound at all.

Still 128. You just have to scroll - hold the middle mouse button and drag.ChocoLatteRabbit wrote:The # of harmonics has been reduced from 128 (?) to 36 or something?
Middle click. What did I update the manual for?silicon/silicium wrote:btw is there a way to reset velocity curve??
Confirmed. Stupid me. I'll have that fixed in a bit.R.A.W. wrote:what i meant is this: when you click the "edit" button from the lfos you get no waveform editor anymore.

Fixed. Get this and unzip it in your skins directory, overwriting default.oms and large.oms. No need to if you downloaded 36-1 after this post, it's fixed in the main zip as well.

Fuzzpilz,
Please download this omp
http://members.home.nl/peterfox/site3/skins/bass2.omp
and try it in both versions 35-5 and 36-1 and you will notice a destinct difference, it's intended to sound like it does in 35-5 !
I also noticed that the sliders I use in my and easyboogie's GUI have a bigger range in this version ...
did you do anything to incorporate that , 'cause I like it !
Yeager.

I should joint the crow to say that this synth rock,
It's like Synth1 on the steroid.
This random button is incredible.
I save a lot of presets, twick it and keep the best for a futur bank on KVR.
The FX are so great the you should do some VST FX for Distortion, reverb and the delay that we can use them for our favorites VST synth too.
Great synth

Fuzzpilz,
Looks like the ARP is raising the volume when you use f.i. two ups next to each other to extend the notelength!?
In my omp you only hear the squeeck on the extended note( 2 ups in the arp ), that's when the distortion kicks in more heavily...
Does this explanation make sense to you ?
Yeager.
