Anyway I AGREE with you here, I wouldn't say I could get my tone in a couple seconds, but in 10 minutes tops if I couldnt get my tone out of an AMp or SIM or whatver then I know that this not the product I want.

Fair enough.. I dont hold grudges either, IF we had words face to face it may be a different story, but I laugh anytime I get into these ridiculous internet sqwabbles!! f**k the spelling!! If I were to actually take this things seriously it would be the time when I need to take a real hard look in the mirror... are you saying this can't be done with either of my PODs? (2.0 and xt live) Because if you think so, than I believe you're quite mistaken.

I have said more than once, that I really liked the POD, especially the XT.
But the moment, that you come to compare them A/B, you will realise how dead and lifeless
the hardware feels and sounds in relation.
And the pod, reacts already quite well in comparison to most of the software.

If all you are saying is that it will be a better simulator and simulate amps more accurate, then it will just be another sim

It will be a totally new experience, instead of a rather lifeless, static reacting thing, it will turn your playing back into "the living thing experience" again, by interacting with you,
and your playing and challenging you.

I am talking about all those feelings, that slowly seems to be getting lost, that made us become guitar players in the first place.

Evolving is better than nostalgia imho.

This is a huge step in evolution.

Okay Rene, I see your point, but you miss mine...it can't be a real step in evolution if you still "model" amps of the past.

If it's so revolutionary, why not approach it in that way? If it really blows everything away, why not bill it as the first guitar amp designed for software and DAWs?

I'm sorry, but since 1971 all I have heard is "sounds just like"...for years it was Marshall of Fender (remember those awesome musicman amps? Always compared to the Twin). I don't want someone to say my playing sounds just like someone else, I want to sound like me. So why not a new standard in guitar recording, not just a whitewash of the old?...now that would be a step forward...

I was hoping in the next three to four weeks,
but as it looks, this will not be possible.
We will definitely not release the amplifier in the low seasoned summer months.
So it will be after this summer.
