Kontakt 2 on Receptor

I'm not a owner of Kontakt or Receptor - yet. I read that it isn't possible to control Kontakt 2 by the knobs on receptor's front panel, you'd have to have attached monitor. Is that only for editing sounds or is it also for switching between sounds?

Also, is it possible for me to: Put a wave file in Kontakt and use a keyboard attached to Receptor to play this wave file through midi connection.
