Here is an idea to shorten the wait for some of you, if you want:

If enough people are interested in a
"single amplifier model",
(I am thinking of the 5150)

This "single amplifier model" can be upgraded later,
for only the price difference between the two versions,
to the full version of our upcoming amp.

I can finish such a VST within two or three weeks.

Any thoughts on this?
Maybe make a poll?

But one thing I have to say, I am really having enough of getting insulted here.
Damn man..take enough screen space with your posts?

:hihi:

Here's a marketing idea for you:

Everyone's gonna want a different model if you offer an individual amp. Why not make individual versions of ALL your amp models and sell em like you suggest with an option to upgrade to the full version? That way more people would probably be more interested if they have a choice on what individual amp models they might want ot get.

I know I would..

you got to let it roll off Rene, pre release is the easy part, post release can go either way...it could get real ugly or it could be your deserved rewards...either way you have to stay the course. If people get you down, let it roll off...if people are excited and pump you up, you can't let it go to your head. Stay the course and keep an even keel.

As for releasing one, I think that's a good idea. It could help you perfect the other ones...letting them trickle down, if you will, would not be a bad way to go...:)

The 5150 head and combo are a bit different, so if you're looking for more 5150 testers, I've got the mk-I head plus a cab loaded with V-30's. Freshly retubed with an integrated quad of 6L6GC's and KT88's. I don't know if that's helpful, or if an additional 5150 would just complicate things, but let me know if you're interested.

Just a heads up really : American Musical Supply is blowin' out the BOSS GS-10 for $260 - so I bought one - I have a Boss GT-6 and love it but it doesn't fit on my computer desk top.

( I do have the desktop model of the VOX ToneLab that is very cool at times but it tends to have a more-or-less "constant" character; maybe I'm expecting too much )

On the boutique front I have two 40-watt 4-10" VHT Pitbull amps - very sweet soundin' if I do say so myself...

peace,

What's a Fuchs amp?

I'm gonna send you a PM later, René.

I guess they have an interesting tone for you.

Here is a demo I already posted before played by Dimitar using my Fuchs model.

Usually I would agree with your point.
But that tube space is needed, they cover the internal effect sections and other goodies.
It is used for several different views. ;)

Oh - they seem to sound sweet indeed.

Very interesting, to say the least. Not exactly sounding like the demos on their site, but that's because of Dimitars playing (which is fine, just a different style) and guitar I think. Lacks a bit of that "mid-bite", but a semi-acoustic or whatever might have it.

Does it do the cleaner sounds as well?

I'm interested in a single amp if such becomes available. Depends on the cost, as is always the case.

This sounds very very familiar. Anyone remember Crysonic's Spectralive? They claimed to be such brilliant programmers that they invented some super hi tech audio process but yet needed Synth Edit to wrap the patch handling............Soundspectral=Crysonic?

I find it reasonable to believe that it might just be convenient to use synthedit for the wrapper while coding the guts of it separately. I really could care less if it is synthedit or not if it gets the results. Xmastube was very promising.
