I was talking about a real RE-201. All you need is a couple of 1/4" cordsbduffy wrote:Not only are those not free, you need a whole new audio interface to use them.

...and $400 bucks. Fine, but I'll bet you dirt to dollars that this guy isn't really thinking about blowing $400 on vintage outboard gear.seamoss wrote:I was talking about a real RE-201. This is pretty much exactly what I made Maelcum for. Very warm, analogish, dub-like tape delay.kevvvvv wrote:Freebie preferably, but suggestions are welcome.

I think that one was aiming to do a bucket brigade-style delay. Same for e-phonic's retrodelay I think. There's a tape delay mode in the free Kjaerhus delay, but the delay doesn't respond to modulation the right way. Same thing for the free ConcreteFX tape delay.diverdee wrote:mdsp analog delay - isn't that a tape delay vst also?
Can't find this on the arcdev site of KVR database.diverdee wrote:Arcdevs dubb box (space echo emu) is good - grungy, dubby & free.
