By the way, if you have a syncrosoft key (if you already have Miroslav Philharmonik or Cubase or Neundo, Arturia ProphetV or other products that have one - or you can get one for around $20. and keep it as a spare) then you can download the AmpliTube 2 demo from www.amplitube.com I am not sure if this was mentioned yet in this thread because I don't have time to read back through it... understandably! But, in case that is helpful to anyone who wants to "try before you buy".

Enjoy your AmpliTube 2s! I have heard nothing but incredible reports from customers and various pro musicians who have been using it. I think Pete Townshend picked one up (I know he also bought Miroslav Philharmonik). Mike Rutherford and Steve Hackett have it (thanks to Genesis fan Squids). Maybe Jimmy Page and Steve Vai as well from what I have heard. I have to find out more about that. I sort of have a side interest in the classic rock guys using this stuff because it is fun for me. In fact, I will be hosting a little "Dave's Corner" soon on the IK web sites where I tell some short little stories about who is using what and how it came to be etc. That plus some free stuff like patches, loops and ST sounds of course and also tips and tricks. I've been asking to have this little place for a while and I think it will be fun!

Have to say also that AT2 is very pleasant surprise. I am actually using it to practice and jam with tracks. AT2 has renewed faith..

Hm, I just downloaded the demo.
Wondering about when to install it... I'm tempted to do it right now.
30 program starts is making me laugh though. Defenitely not enough to evaluate things.

Definitely try the AC30 and try it also with the SE power section. The Vox chime thing is the star of AT2, IMO. Worth the price (X-grade) of admission alone.
