Is EVE 2 an upgrade (to EVE 1) or is it an entirely new plug-in?
Will there be pricing considerations for those already running EVE 1?
No one has really answered Kermit's original question yet...

are you talking about the EVE v1.x or the smaller EVE ONE?JayVee wrote:Is EVE 2 an upgrade (to EVE 1) or is it an entirely new plug-in?

EVE 2 is an upgrade for EVE 1.8, see Dash Signature forum
(sorry for the confusion)

well..normally if its an unsupported plug..that is, you installed via unsupported method, it would work to replace the dll.liqih wrote:hey Tim, does Receptor allows you do freely update the EVE DLL?tconrardy wrote:YEP!!! The GUI is very nice too.

However, since its a receptorized plug..I don't know how it would work..you would need to send the new version to Muse, and have them receptorize it and have it available as an upgrade on plugarama..my suggestion!!
Need confirmation from the musers however..Torin, Rick????

Yes, that was the reason I asked as I'm not sure it would install given EVE is one of the officially supported plugs. It would probably be easier if Muse could make a package.
JayVee, I had EVE on PC before getting EVE on Receptor. Upgrades for the PC version are $24 and well worth it.

I really get a lot of use from my EVE 1...
So I'd likely pay to upgrade.
I'll need to know about saving already edited patches ~ to ensure they'll be avaialable to play in the new model.
Thanks!

They play fine. One of the banks you can select is 1.8, so older patches are still functioning. You get the A0 bank as well and a few other goodies like the Zvon light Prepared Rhodes.
