That's not what you said at the beginning of the thread. You said "I not believe it's real" - it does not sound like you made it.Donnie Darko Brasco wrote:waht wrong wit you?bduffy wrote: You, sir, are an idiot.

Yeah, you can hide those channels...but I find the inspector a tedious way of doing some things too, so for midi channels, I use the mixer. e.g. on my version of SX (2.2.something), if you solo a midi channel, sometimes it doesn't always solo the associated audio channel. For the audio channels of a VSTi, I have to open 2 of the subchannels (automation channels) to be able to fire up a channel view from the inspector - the 1st channel (which defaults to volume) if I try the inspector, it still only gives me the midi options, not the audio channel.Oh and can't you just hide the MIDI channels? I never use 'em either, but I just hide them right away in all my Templates and all my Mixer Views.
So it's just a personal workflow thing...the inspector ticks me off, so I try to work with the mixer...but then the mixer ticks me off too...catch 22. I really am trying to get used to the inspector, I am...but I always end up with way too many channels shown for comfort, and I don't like the way it shortens the arrangement view; So I end up having to hide midi channels, then unhide them when I want to change the VSTi or whatever. Nothing I can't deal with, but it often seems so...inelegant?

Yeah, see, I spend a lot of time in the Inspector. SX 3 has 2.2 beat in that you just have to single-click the inspector, and it expands; much faster. Whoever thought of dbl-clicking on a 2px X 8px box to expand the inspector is nuts. And soloing FX Channels! URGH!kritikon wrote:Yeah, you can hide those channels...but I find the inspector a tedious way of doing some things too, so for midi channels, I use the mixer. e.g. on my version of SX (2.2.something), if you solo a midi channel, sometimes it doesn't always solo the associated audio channel. Anyway, these are the little bithcy things that need to be improved. But we'll probably get some mLan/Time-Blasto thingy first...

yeah, reading it now it looks a tricky sentence. What I meant is that, yes, it was clearly a hoax from the get go, and those who believe it's real are either dreamers, or idiots.jens wrote:so you say it's not? - I thought it was...Kingston wrote: So keep dreaming, whoever of you refuse to believe it's not a hoax.

What I find especially funny (well sad really) is that even after the creator of the document exposed himself at cubase.net, some people *still* think it might be real.
Interweb idiotism at it's best.
