Has anyone brought Komplete 2 or 3 and then loaded the individual instruments onto Receptor? Would this or Should this work fine? (or could someone at muse maybe help me out).

Many Many Thanks in advance

Unless Muse has changed something in the last couple of months, it does not work, as I found out when I tried it. I got Komplete3 and then tried to load GR1 and Elektrik Piano. The serial numbers won't work with the installers for those specific programs, since they are "Komplete" serial numbers (not for individual products).

the good news is I emailed Native Instruments and explained the situation, and they game me serial numbers for those two specific programs so that I COULD authorize them on Receptor (it took them a good while to respond, just FYI).

I have Komplete2 and I think I got mine to work. I simply submitted a crossgrade email request to Native Instruments through the plugorama site. They then sent me a discount code, and I had to pay the $29 crossgrade fee for each instrument I wanted to load onto the receptor. But i essentially paid the fee and they stated that I had new licenses on my ilok, went to ilok.com and synchronized and voila .. stuck the ilok in the receptor and initiated the demo version, and there are no 2-digit numbers in front of the plugins so i'm assuming all went well and i have them perminently now. i didn't authorize anything with native instruments on their site or anything, of course, i had already authorized the komplete 2 package back when i bought it and before my receptor.

does this info help at all?

Yes, this works fine for those NI's that are officially Receptorized like FM7, Kompakt, Pro53 and B4. But for the "user installables" like B4II, Guitar Rig and Elektrik Piano, you have to have a serial number for that instrument, and the Komplete3 packages comes with a "package serial number" that won't work with those "user installable" installers. No big thing, though, if you can get NI to give you another serial number like I did (and they didn't even charge me!)

I contacted NI Sales directly at sales@native-instruments.de. I explained to them what a loyal customer I was (having bought Komplete2 and upgraded to 3, and having already bought receptorized cross-grades to FM7, pro53, Kompakt and B4) and I told them that the main reason I BOUGHT the K3 update was to get Elektrik Piano and GR on Receptor. And of course do to this I needed serial numbers for THOSE products, not the "K3 Serial". By the way, the original thread is here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... t=komplete

I take back what I said earlier about it "taking them a while to respond". Looking back at my emails, it only took them a few days to respond. I didn't get any kind of "personal response", just a system generated emails (2 of them) that said "here is your serial number".

Regardless, I was a happy camper. Wait until you hear one the the clav's from EP through GR1. It ROCKS!
