all right I will have to tonite, but they aren't to far from Midiworks mp3's. I still can't quite get it to sit in a full mix with 4 guitars multitracked, but I can get what seems to be a good sound by itself. Its still not my cup of tea, haha Oh well I guess i did more talk.
But I will upload a short sample later..

Ok as promised for some reason,, here is a few examples of this VST in action.. It still doesnt quite cut it for me, but it is all right with the cab impulses, and that is all I used, since I realize not everyone would be using the same EQ I was initially, So this is Extremist, then Boogex cab 5 sm57 impulse and an reverb at the end..
I did a quick jam trying to incorparate all things, ,Chugs, then a lot of open discordant type chords and then I did a little solo at the end as well, in the blues vain.. And plus I did that same Nevermore riff that was on Midiworks MP3's. By the way I really hate that riff
, but I was asked to play it way WAY back on MW amp sim page.. later

Oh and it suffers a little bit of the MP3 rash, but it is still pretty clean.,
And I should add that I was trying to get RID of the "tone down" sound that this thing has, It is very difficult to do , in fact I wasnt really able to,, so if it is a little bright, that is becasue I really was trying to get a more natural "tone up"
sound..

This is already pretty good Killvehicle.
here is my edit of your file:

Okay, it might be a bit over the top concerning the loudness...
I added a new EQ setting and a multiband compressor.
The problem with most of the distortion and amp plug-ins is,
that they are DEAD and not interacting with your guitar playing.
This is one of the reasons, but not the only one,
that is giving you the impression that they sound fake and unnatural.
A real amplifier can be like a living beast, fighting with you and challenging you.

Sorry I have no idea, Someone asked if anyone could learn and play it and I said yes, and did just that. although the real track did "sound" really good..cheul wrote:@Killvec : by the way, what's the title of the Nevermore song you're playing this riff from ?

Out of everyone on this thread, Killvehicle knows hi-gain sounds the best.
Out of everyone on this thread Killvehicle has impressed me the most with his plug-in tweaking abilities due to his damn good hi-gain tones that he got out of the turd called Amplitube.
He may not phrase it how you want it to be phrased, but you're missing out if you don't listen to what he has to say.

You remember the 300 page amplitube thread!!! ALL hype, now no one is nearly as impressed as they were just hyping about it.
But AMplitube is still all right!
