Hi, I just noticed a strange bug in both energyXT and live, some patches I made stay silent, and some build in patches too (eg padme). in fact it seems there is a trouble with reverb: when I set it off, no problem, when I turn it on, no sound at all. it's rather strange as on energyXT it also "mute" (mean no sound) other tracks!!!
-edit, I have some various random behaviour with the output as soon as I load my patch. sometimes the sound restart when I close the reverb, sometimes when I reset a midi controller... very random

Seems to work just fine in Logic.5.51 as well - but someone has surely already mentioned that.
I envy you synth guys. New instruments to dig into every week. I'm a guitar-player and hardly ever use any synths. I do check them out, though, just for the fun of it. Amazing stuff, some of them.

Hello, Silicon/silicium, strange behavior with that patch for me, too. It makes absolutely no sound whatsoever in the old CMuzys that I use most of the time. From looking at the gui panels, I cannot see any reason the patch should be silent. I tried tweaking everything up and down and on and off, and still nothing.silicon/silicium wrote:here is the patc:

I do have problems from time to time with various 3rd party synth patches not being compatible with CMuzys.
In Toby's MiniHost I cannot find your patch at all, either in the host patch system or Oatmeal's system. But I have this problem a lot with Minihost.
I've always assumed that it was due to my nonSSE machine running on Win98SE. I dunno, really.

well, I got the preset in a project where I can't use the internal reverb: if I start the verb, it stops sounding, I had to put an extra vst reverb. I cannot really say what is going wrong with this patch...

Strange one to me too. I was curious to hear it. Perhaps the OMB "text file" got corrupted. I couldn't make it work with or without reverb and tried all the effects as well. It just wouldn't make a sound for me.
You might start with a fresh, clean default patch and re-enter all the values you used originally and see what happens. Dunno.

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem, but I have a few ideas... I'll send you a copy of the next version later, with an attempt at a fix in it.

As far as I can tell in the midisection both amps are assigned to midi controller 12.
When I put the depth on both to 0% at least I have sound both with or without the reverb.
Just trying to help.
Yeager.

eyah both ap are assigned to conroller 12 as I need to modulate my main volume with a fader when playing. I also noticed some interesting behaviour when trying to change the depth, or to delete midi assignation. really eratic thought.
I also noticed that if I load a patch with reverb after the bug, oatmeal stay silen. loading a reverb free patch do the job.
