Toneheaded is in fact VERY real and will breathe NEW life into your Amplitube 1. We should be launching the site in 2 weeks and will have hundreds of presets to be downloaded.

Basically the hold up was two of our web design people were called away on other business so they couldn't do proper testing. Lady J was out of the country in Asia doing god knows what (but back now) and we ditched our web host.

Special thanks to everyone who has been patient over the last year or so. You won't have much longer to wait.

I just finished up a parody song yesterday and used AT2 for all the guitars. Man it kicks ass!!!!

No, I do not have a syncrosoft dongle, so the demo is of no use whatsoever to me.
Too bad IK is locked into this dongle thing. They are certainly losing at least one sale because of it. I would possibly even consider buying into their dongle-ized product if I could at least demo it, but I'm not going to buy a dongle just for demoing purposes unless the whole industry moves in that direction.
I currently have a Pod-xt which I use for high gain sound. For those of you who have both, how do they compare?

IMHO Based only on hearing the material posted in Amplitube 2's Hi-Gain sounds thread, POD XT + Metal Shop > Amplitube 2

Well, i hope it's good, at least better than simulanalog GS.

I'm going to install the demo anyway, but GS is all i need still.
So A2 has to go beyond Marshall jmp-1 and Roland VG-88, the hardware i own and it's collecting dust since i discovered GS... I can't help being sceptic.

I had a dream that the entire Simulanalog suite was repackaged, with fancy GUI and all. Why on earth would I have a dream about that? I'm really on forums for too much of the day....

the dream must have been triggered by something else

remember simulanalog was a school project, they changed students, they probbly have to re-doit again

still waiting for the vintage suite...

Someone did a GUI for jcm I think,wrapped in SE perhaps
