what kind of rack and electrical protection do you use?

now that i have my receptor, Im considering use it on the road. But Im scared by the fact that Receptor is "still" a computer... bad power, shocks, vibrations .. etc etc etc :cry:
I make alot of outdoors gigs, and protection is a top priority

but...

how many of you invested in a G-shock rack and a rackmount UPS?

Am I being paranoid! :help:

P.S.: are there other Adat splitters like the behringer ada8000 or alesis ai3???

You are not beeing paranoid....
I blew one of my receptors powersupply awhile ago:-(
They tell me its still working, and that they only need another internal powesupply...
and thats the problem!

..Its been in service forever cause they dont seem to be able to get a small enough powersupply.
Ive been on the phone to muses norvegian dealer tons of times, but all they can say is that its impossible to order and that muse cant help them get it. Ive even sent some mails to muse myself, but no reply.

anybody here in the forum that knows what i should do next?

I cant see that this can be that much of a problem..

FYI: I have have a few Receptor supports issues come my way that had all the symptoms of a bad power supply. However it turned out it was the result of a power condtioner and the Receptor. Going straight to AC would correct the problem.
