Ahh, I understand. Well, luckily, I have found that zooming into the high frequencies using SPAN in its current state, gives a very nice view so I may be able to work around this.Aleksey Vaneev wrote:soundpalace, phase scope and level meters are on my todo list - many people have requested these features so far for SPAN. Linear mode is unfortunately an offspring of Fast Fourier transform. Classis spectrum analyzers never offered it because it is hardly practical.
I must admit that I never understood what the Slope variable was used for, but after some more examination, I can see that this is incredibly useful ... in fact, I'm starting to wonder why I hadn't started using this earlier. I don't believe any other FFT analyser has this, and to say the least, it is a very very useful feature to assist with getting your mix balanced correctly.
Just out of curiosity, would it be difficulty to implement custom LOW FREQ & HIGH FREQ ranges on the analyser ? i.e. say I wanted from 25 Hz - 49 Hz.
Inspector and the Wavelab FFT meters have a wonderful little magnifier facility that allows you to zoom in on any part of the FFT.
I'm a huge fan of your work Aleksey, keep up the great work
