The Read-Me says to just put Filterscape/VA/Q6 into the VST folder but I am dragging it in and clicking on it and I am asked to choose a program to open it with. Does this sound right? What do I use? Can someone help?

You don't click on it to open it- it's a plugin. You need a host to load it into...
