Hi,
My name is Juan Gauthier and i play guitar in a metal band called Point Of Existence ( www.pointofeExistence.se ) my rig consiste of Boss GTPro, Digitech Quad4, Terratech Axon100 MKII (guitar2midi converter) and an EMU E5000Ultra hardware sampler. So in other words i when i play i dont only have a guitar sound but also a lot of different synthsounds depending on the song.

I've been readin a lot about Receptor and it souds like something i would really benefit from (not having to use my sampler nor the xtra Digitach effect. But one thing that kinda puts me a bit off is that Receptor seems to only have 1 stereo out connection!!!

So here's my biggest request and i dont think i'm alone on that.

Add at least one more stereo output! that way one could use the vst effects and the vst instruments separately if needed. An example to a situation is if i would be using a synthesizer controlld by my midi equipment and our singer would use some effects for his song.

Please respond to this and let me know what you think....

Best regards,
Juan Gauthier

Receptor has an ADAT litepipe output. I use an Alesis AI3 unit to provide D/A for up to 8 additional analog outputs. You can also use similar units from Behringer (ADA8000) or SM Pro Audio.

Hi Juan,

I've got a similar rig: Boss GT-Pro, Eventide Eclipse, Axon AX100MK-II, Roland VG-8 and Clavia Nord Modular G2 Engine synth.

I'm considering selling the Eventide Eclipse (and maybe the Clavia) and buying the Receptor.

I miss 2 stereo inputs at the receptor: One for the GT-Pro, another for the VG-8.

Regards,

Manuel

I'm starting to research other options:

Plugzila:

Coyote:

Expandium:

Maybe it's not a time to rush with the purchase... Competitors have it very easy to add new hardware features at the new models.

Hmmmm....

Very very interesting, with those pricetags one should never rush into a purchase. One big thing that i think the Receptor has an advantage in is the graphical GUI that the others dont seem to have....yet...

Future will show.

Nice to see some competition, maybe that will force Muse Research guys to add what people want/need/request for the next Receptor version.

Best regards
Juan
