Is Receptor considered to be an "authorized" computer by NI?

If you load one of the "user installables" available on Plugorama then YES, you run the "Registration Tool" ON the Receptor itself as part of this install, and the Receptor itself becomes one of your two allowed auths. If you buy one of the fully Receptorized ones though (FM7, B4 original, Kompakt and Pro-53, as a Crossgrade or otherwise) you get an iLok license for it, and this is separate from your NI Authorizations.

Hybernation, B4 is kind of a unique plug, the B4 II is a standard NI player, but B4 is different. I own two copies of the B4 app al;ready, can i use one of those as a license somehow, or will I have to purchase another one, do you know? I'll be under the gun to get my new box set up in time for an upcoming gig, so if I need to do something in advance, it would be good to know. Thanks.

If you own B4 already, you'll have to just purchase the "cross-grade" for either 19 or 29 bucks....and the license will come in the form of an iLok entry....independant from your NI B4 license.thesoundsmith wrote:Hybernation, B4 is kind of a unique plug, the B4 II is a standard NI player, but B4 is different. I don't think you can use either license you already own though, as "fully receporized" plugs like B4 don't work as Unsupported Plugins.
