I am not entirely clear on the difference between absolute, relative, and procentual note changes. But one thing that I'd like to be able to do is the following: suppose I have a part that I wrote for 4 measures, but I decided that really it should be played at double tempo and should only take up two measures. It seems like I ought to be able to select all the notes, and then drag from the right hand side to the middle, and "shrink" the set of notes that I had selected. But this doesn't happen with any of these three; instead, in all cases that I tried, the notes are all shrunk to a shorter length, but "in position".
Thoughts?

When changing note lengths, the positions of the notes are not changed, only the lengths.
Time stretching parts is not yet supported, nor for audio nor for midi parts.
When changing note lengths, you get 3 options:
"Absolute" means that all selected notes get exactly the same length. So if you changed from length 0.1.0000 to 0.2.0000, then all selected notes get length 0.2.0000.
"Relative" means that if you changed from length 0.1.0000 to 0.2.0000, then all selected notes get 1 beat extra length.
"Procentual" means that if you changed from length 0.1.0000 to 0.2.0000, then all selected notes get double length.
