I see Sweetwater is advertising two models of the Receptor at the moment, the Receptor in general and the 'new' Rev C. Rev C is proced $300 higher than the older model.
Is there a difference, or is it all downloadable software? Same mobo, processor, HD, etc.? I'm going to order Monday AM so I need to know if I can save toe $$$ or not. Thanks.
Rev C? What's the difference?

I don't think you can get the old Receptor any longer since it's been discontinued...
I tried to do that in order to save $300, but nobody had it in stock anymore. I ended up buying from Sweetwater for $1,700 (which I'll get shipped to me today).
The main difference between the two is that Rev C comes standard with 160GB hard drive, as opposed to 40GB. (Which means I have wasted $300 since I don't require a larger HD)
Also, Muse Research did some technical modifications, such as making the RAM faster - from DDR333 to DDR400.
