God, I'm a problem child...something weird's happened to the kingstondrums.bombsquad.org site - can anyone tell me how I can download the Ruffrider and Easyrider samples now? Sorry to be so much trouble - having lots of fun with DK+ now, especially with that brushed kit. Been looking for something like that for yonks!

pw do you think or mind asking the author
if we can host a copy of this?

Have no fear, Kingston Drums will be online sooner or later - the updated page with most mappings (including DK+ afair) are there, we just haven't had the server people fix things so I can get our content visible via the proper domain.
If all else fails, I'll put the stuff online elsewhere for the time being. I'll let Michael make the decision about having it mirrored elsewhere, I don't have any objections to such as long as the content isn't used to promote other products
Regards,
The webmonkey responsible for the Kingston Drums site

aha, thanks jmh, <grin>
since the http://thedkplus.dashsignature.com
is for free kits which indirectly
promote our DK+ , (?)

I'd rather host the sources myself. All third party material is only up to the developers themselves.liqih wrote:right, so I shouldn't mirror it

Unfortunately this whole website ordeal hasn't been up to me. First the server crashes, and not even jmh could do anything about that. For about a month or so the site could've back online in a different location, but unfortunately that hasn't been up to me either. jmh's call really.
Let's just see what happens. Again I'll say that hopefully the site will be online sometime in the near future. I could've easily hosted it on my new website for quite some time, but jmh has all the material and has been a tad unresponsive on the matter...

While we're on such subjects, what happened to the Tchakpoum samples? Site seems to have 404'd

As you've got all the important files, you put them up thenKingston wrote:I could've easily hosted it on my new website for quite some time, but jmh has all the material and has been a tad unresponsive on the matter...
