zebra 2 doesn't play well with kinetic 2

hi urs,

just got kinetic 2. loaded zebra 2 immediately (one of the most important synths in my set!). only some of the sounds in the 'main' sound set will play. the sounds from the contributors don't play at all.

question: in situtations like this, who works out the problem: the host developers or the plug-in developers?

Well, hmmm...

I don't know kinetic. As this is not a common thing I'd argue that it's rather a problem with kinetic than with Z2.

Does it happen when you load the patches over Z2's built-in preset loader? Or does it only happen when you load the patches from the host's interface?

And maybe another thing... perhaps you've accidentally MidiLearned a critical parameter, such as Master Volume. Some hosts reset all Midi Controllers and then you unexpectedly get silence... could that be it?

i've only loaded patches from Z2's built-in preset loader...

its not a master volume/midi learn problem as adjusting the master volume doesn't help...

another symptom, is that when i switch between patches, i'll hear a 'brap' or a short playback of the patch...i'll get you a sample list of patches that work and patches that don't in a couple of days...
