I wasn't very clear: I *do* understand that, and the distinction between the two. I think there are enough grey areas in this scenario - the MIDI Imp. chart labelled for PK88 instead of PK88sx, the fact that the PK88 has a different spec - that I feel badly for the guy. OTOH, if this was an important facet of the purchase, and I didn't try it out in a store somewhere, I'd surely try it out right away to make sure I had what I needed.droolmaster0 wrote:Well, right - you don't know what it means. And, that said, since the documentation is misleading to a degree, I'd contact M-Audio directly with the problem and see if I couldn't work something out with them. Seems like a lot of times with manufacturers, it is *how* you approach them that has a big effect on the end result.
