A comment on the Muse support team for potential buyers

I purchased, and returned, a receptor and wanted to share my experience with any potential buyers. While the unit didn't meet my (unique) personal needs I must give praise to Torin, Ted and all the people at Muse. They are available, responsive and helpful in every way. The individual attention I received is unparalleled in my experience (how many times has the president of a corporation emailed you?). Muse always responded helpfully to every call and email i sent and were more than willing to spend their time and expertise in assisting me in any way that they could. The word 'character' comes to mind. It's good to see a 'new school' company with an 'old school' ethic. So if you are considering purchasing a Receptor know this: They stand behind their product and will be there for you.

Well, I've had only the same extremely positive experiences with everyone at Muse.
The difference here is that I kept, and absolutely love, my Receptor.
Actually, at times I may have come off as 'a real pain in the ---', but have always received top quality treatment.

Ditto. I count Muse's support among the very best I have ever encountered in the quarter of a century that I have been buying gear. Seriously, they are in the top three for support, out the hundreds of companies I have dealt with.

I also had great support from Muse even though I had to return my Receptor, also. Dealing with the iLok people was a total disaster, though.

i also had a pleasant experience with the Muse folks. i was pretty irate about the iLok server problems i dealt with the first time i tried to use my Receptor. In fact, both Plugoramma and iLok servers were being royal pukers at the same time for the first time in ages, apparently, and i was just that unlucky to have started my Receptor use just then. But, the next day, everything was cool. Since then, no problems. i just hope iLok supports Firefox soon!!!! i am a major disbeliever in dongles, but when there is GOOD support, they can be acceptable. i just wish that the support for dongle-using companies was of the quality of Muse and NewTek universally. Smaller companies have more interest in being good to individual customers. The bigger and older the company, the less they are interested in dealing with individual customers.
