Just to put my money where my mouth is, I went ahead and purchased EVE 2 to help with the cause, I know you will get this velocity thing worked out, so here is my vote of confidence !!

OK, here is test #1, played at 64 velocity average, volume at 70, here is a small sample using the patch you posted, below is the piano roll showing the average velocities used(red bar shows velocity 64), I opened up the filter just a touch:

Trying some Scarlatti with more extreme velocity changes, something where you can hear the contrast more, I was not able to sink my teeth into changing this piece too much, it's a mental thing !!

Maybe an acoustic piano wave would be better for testing, it's hard to determine the correct behavior because of the decay and velocity response of the electric piano waveform, something I can leave the filter off to hear the full wave playing with no decay, etc... the less things left random, the better, right now the patch is still a bit too hot for velocities under 64 IMHO.....

thanks for all the tests, so it's a matter of velocity curve I'd say (?), since for velocity from 0 to about 20 is ok,
but then volume rises to fast, correct?

Hmm, yes, like there is no velocity layer covering from 20 to 60 ??

Dear Luisi;

If I take a patch and set the three individual vel sens buttons to max(127), then set the master vel sens to about halfway(64), my piano patches sound good, and there is plenty of dynamics from soft to loud, I guess what I am suggesting is that by default that should be the setting for all patches(at least piano ones), so you have a full spectrum from soft to loud playing....

I am able to play piano patches fine using the following settings:
channels 1-3 - 127, 127, 127 master - 64
