If I take a patch and set the three individual vel sens buttons to max(127), then set the master vel sens to about halfway(64), my piano patches sound good, and there is plenty of dynamics from soft to loud, I guess what I am suggesting is that by default that should be the setting for all patches(at least piano ones), so you have a full spectrum from soft to loud playing....

I am able to play piano patches fine using the following settings:
channels 1-3 - 127, 127, 127 master - 64
right! many thanks for helping me out on this, I will updated the settings and release a new version of EVE 2

Did you get the mellotronix or minimoog soundsets/banks yet? These to me are where EVE really shines- very great, vintage sounds with lots of detail .

Hmm, not yet, my VST budget is depleted for a while, but the Mellotron sounds like a winner, I do already have a fat sounding Moog library for Rhino 2 8)

Thanks for the suggestions !

I really love the Mellotronix library. I should maybe stop buying stuff and start making some music instead :P But really, the Mellotronix, is great.
A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...

Yep, mellotronix is just lovely for authentic mellotron tones- I can't get enough of them- I just wish Hollow Sun would find some more tapes and do a part 2 for EVE 2 with more obscure mellotron sounds!

Hollow Sun eh ?? Cool ! They have a great reputation for wonderful samples, BTW, they created a LOT of the sounds for the new Alesis Fusion keyboards !!! Plus they are very supportive of their products !!

Well, the Mellotronix samples come from them, and they are awesome - sampled at every key with very long loops. The upcoming GrandElectrix E-Piano from DashSignature is also based on Hollow Sun samples.
