Hi,
Has anyone noticed what the sound difference is like between the receptor and the computer you used to run the VST on ?
Is it technically just the difference between the PC soundcard and whatever audio interface the receptor has or is there more to it than that?

I don't own a receptor, but since the reseptor is a pc, it will be the difference between your pc audio card and the one from receptor.

I really only use the digital outs from the receptor (I feed them into the digital in's on my emu 1212, both SPDIF and ADAT). Using this method, I have a/b'ed many many instruments, and I must say that the receptor sounds identical to the same instrument running on my PC.
Since I'm not using the DACs on the Receptor's audio card (the analog outs), I cannot comment on how THEY sound, but I understand they are of a pretty high quality.
