Komplete authorisation problems - NOW SOLVED

I've not been able to get my Komplete 3 versions of Absynth3, Kontakt2, B2 II, to correctly authorise as the NI website says they need to be installed as part of the Komplete package. My separate NI installs work fine (eg Akoustik Piano)

Has anyone managed to get a solution to this? Have you got different registration numbers from NI as their response to me has been that I should just contack Muse, whereas it seems that Muse are saying contact NI.

Any help appreciated.

Since I received Ab3 as an upgrade to the Ab2 that came with my K2, I already had a distinct Ab3 serial number.

However, when I bought K3 it CAME with Elektrik Piano and Guitar Rig, so neither had a distinct serial number, just the K3 one (which doesn't work with Muse). Muse said "sorry dude". I emailed NI and told them that the only reason I bought K3 upgrade was to get these two units and to have them on Receptor. They gave me distinct serial numbers for them and life is good. I was lucky in B4II in the same was as AB3. It wasn't ready when I bought K3 so it came as an upgrade later, with it's own serial number.

I sent that email quoted in the other thread to 'sales@native-instruments.de' and I NEVER heard back from a real person. Three days later I just got two system generated emails telling me "thank you for registering Elektric Piano / Guitar Rig" and "here is your serial number".

Upon investigating this further I've found that I too have supplemental dvds for most of the key products (Absynth, Kontakt and BII) all with serial numbers so I'm managed to register Kontakt and BII successfully.

However Absynth 3 I'd already entered the wrong serial number (I'd entered the one with Komplete instead of the separate disk), so now when I click on pluggin tools it just goes to the page where you have to type in the code.
Even when I uninstall Absysnth and reinstall, it bypasses the 'enter your serial number page' and jumps straight to the challenge/response page.

Does anyone know how I can get the enter your serial number page back please as I have my correct code and just want to enter it.

Yep, I had the EXACT same problem. At the time, I opened a ticket on plugorama and the Muse guys gave me a "fixer" program to clean out the bad serial number from the registry.

These days though, I would just use Regedit on Receptor to remove the bad serial number. Either way will work. Once the bad one is gone from the registry, you can re-run the install and it WILL prompt you for the serial number again.

ok - I now have all of my Komplete products working (Abysnth 3, Kontakt 2, Kompakt, B4II, FM7, Pro-53, Elektrik Piano) + Akoustik Piano, thanks to help from John (Hybernation) and Torin and his team.

Can't wait now for Kontakt 2.11 and Kore!
