Only minor glitch is that some of the FXB's when installed on Receptor go into the Albino2 "banks" folder. I couldn't tell how many since there are THOUSANDS. And of course it's not an issue if you load the sounds from the Albino3 GUI, all 2000+ are there.

Hi Hibernation,
I have installed Albino 3, and find that it seems to be acting kinda hobbled. Particularly, when you switch from a patch that has multiple layers to a patch programmed for a single layer, I find that Albino 3 keeps the previous channels from the multi-layered program active in the single. Also, I find some funkiness in the UI too (eg weird redraws, not able to choose patches for multi-layers, etc).
Do you see any problems like this?
Thanks, Regards,
Kevin L.

Yikes. I haven't done much with it on Receptor, just listened to some of the presets. I'll poke around it some more and see if I can recreate what you are seeing.looneytunes wrote:Hi Hibernation,

I am having the same problems with Albino3. I have had no problems at all with Albino2. I think some of the problems may be because are Rev A and B Receptors are just running out of gas and Albino3 is CPU hungary!? I really like Albino3 and hope Muse can rectify our problems.

I finally bought the Receptor Pro and I have Albino3 installed as an Unsupported and I love the sounds... HOWEVER, Receptor and Albino3 DO NOT play together nicely. The Receptor's Singles do not necessarily load the correct patches in Albino3. This is untenable for me. Also, Albino3 crashes the Receptor with very hard crashes when used in conjunction with Colossus and EVE. The crashes happen sporatically when I am playing. Too bad, this is one of my favorite plugins. Albino2 just doesn't compare. I hope Muse works on this plugin.

Thanks for the report of Albino 3 on Pro. Have you asked LinnPlug about such behavior?

Farhan is now aware of this problem and they are addressing it. They should have a fix for it in the next Receptor release. I am glad because Albino3 is much better than Albino2. Although you can install Albino3 OK and it will play OK.. it just doesn't change patches with the norm Receptor methods.
