I just happened to read about Peti in some KVR-thread and thought it looked really interesting. I checked it out, listened to demo songs, and got pretty thrilled! Then I learned about Knagalis and HarpTime too and after hearing some great demo songs, especially those featuring the latter, I was totally excited!

At a pretty early stage the finance awareness center of my brain sensed the excitement from the (abnormally large) musician/tech-nerd center and started preparing for a tough fight. That's when I found the Ethnic Bundle! All ethnic synths in one bundle for a really fair price! And so in the end, piece in my head. :D

My first Dash/NU purchase actually and now I'm the happy owner of 3 of Luigi's cool synths! Not bad huh? :hihi: So now all you other Dash/NU ethno synth geeks (meant as a compliment) may welcome me on board! And those of you with an interest that haven't checked out the Ethnic Bundle yet, I suggest you do so promptly! (I downloaded and installed the synths last night - without problems - and my first impression of the sounds is  ).

Good choice. Great buy. You probably want to look at Modelonia too, it's not truely ethnic, but it's just as unique as all of NUSofting's products :). And if you like vintage, you might want to get EVE 2 too.

Even though I don't use Peti and Knagalis in every song, they are just sooo much fun to play with... But also Modelonia, Dvorak's symphonies sound so easy with that plugin ;)

Cool! Thanks for the tip! I tried the Modelonia demo a while back actually, but somehow the synth didn't really appeal to me then. The idea of it is brilliant though, just as the Ethno Bundle synths. Unique's the word! Hmm, maybe I should try it again... Nah, I really need to save some money for food... :hihi:

I must have missed Peti  (I do have Knaglis, Harptime & Modelonia :D Although I'm probably not putting them to the use they were intended for :))

Thanks for the heads up.

Cheers

Steve
