Zebra2 is great sounding... I've been working on drones and evolving pads and it is superb... best synth I have used for this purpose... and I love the comb modules!

I know I mentioned it once before, but a global sync multiplyer would sure be useful.

for some future version, a delay control for the dual and quad osc would be nice. So for example, currently, if I want to send 2 osc into a comb filter with one of the osc delayed, I don't see way to do this.

The envelopes have the delay function (not tempo sync'ed) but that only takes effect at the end of the channel (1-4) chain

Could be cool to have a delay module in with the osc/filter/comb modules...

Oh, at some point an octave detune for the osc's would be nice too. Towards the end of its scale, the detune control could scale quickly up to an octave.

I am very much looking forward to the final version. It will be nice to have module preset so it is easy to copy the settings from one osc to another. Duplicating waveforms is currently tedious. I already enjoy sound creation in the pre-release, but once the final ships, Zebra2 will be even easier and more fun to edit. For me, Zebra2 is remarkable for how powerful and flexible it is, yet still makes sense and is easy to understand. Fantastic GUI.

Well, maybe the preview versions out there are a bit too old, but the envelopes on my machine can be synced (quarters, full notes, 4 notes), i.e. 25% Attack of a quarter would be a 16th...

To achieve what you want to do, just set OSC volume to 0.00 and use any envelope as mopdulation source for OSC volume... then delay accordingly :-) (you can also waste an MSEG for that, of course) - the good thing about it: as long as an osc has its volume set to zero, it doesn't consume any cpu...

Almost finished with the last graphics bits tonite, so it's about time to do a build for final testing & bugfixes.

Cheers,

;) Urs

Yea me--I finally convinced my friend Tye in Spokane to get a license! (And he got a great price too.)

This thing is really looking great.

oh, of course... OSC volume... thanks for the tip!

by now you must have forgotten what the preview version is like! :) It is exciting to think of the new Z2 coming soon. Really, from all you have said, it is more like Z2.5

someday I'd like to be able to run audio through those wonderful comb modules!
