I have a Karaoke program that uses CD+G,MP3,files etc. Since my laptop has limited capacity in it's HD, I was wondering if Uniwire perhaps, could be used to store and recall these files, or would it be easier to get an external USB HD ?

If you are still planning on PLAYING them on the laptop and just need an external drive, you can store them on Receptor and just mount the drive with windows networking (ethernet). Point the player to the receptor drive (you can assign it a "drive letter" in windows which often makes this easier). No need to bring uniwire into the picture in this case.bernie9 wrote:I have a Karaoke program that uses CD+G,MP3,files etc. Since my laptop has limited capacity in it's HD, I was wondering if Uniwire perhaps, could be used to store and recall these files, or would it be easier to get an external USB HD ?
