Maybe it's just that guitar players are always searching for the Holy Grail and just like the Holy Grail, no one's sure it exists or even what it it is...kinda like this amp sim....

I just got a Line6 "Dr Distorto" - I think it may be the last distortion pedal I buy for a while. I compared it side-by-side to Damage Control's "Womanizer" and it was no contest - Dr Distorto won without question!

As for this thread - MidiWorks sure knows how to work a room, eh?

I found a copy of XMastube ... unfortunately it crashes both my hosts when I load it

don't worry - it's nothing special anyway...

I recommend Cortex, Dirthead, Juicy77 and of course JCM900...

I loaded the Xmas Tube only once up to now... (I swear that's true!)

You could have ask me for XmasTube,
because that is the only right way to get a copy of it.

The .dll alone is not enough to run XmasTube.

theres also a folder with dat.dll, and several SEPs that start with dat.

Well, I ordered a Seymour Duncan - Jeff Beck model, and it still hasn't arrived, so I can wait a few months
