When I open the kit selection list, sometimes I accidentally click on the sub-heading "Custom Kits" (this is not too difficult to do, as the sub-heading always appears underneath the mouse pointer, regardless of where the DK+ GUI is).

If I click the sub-heading, then I get an EAccess Violation and the host closes.

I get the same problem if I click either of the other sub-headings.

Just to second/confirm. Tried it and reproduced the crash in energyXT, VSTHost and Reaper.

you may find DKplus_1.5_menu_fix.zip
that's the DLL only with a new Kit menu which should work better,

yep, no crashes now, and the kit selection drop-down list looks much better
