Perhaps you should add a lowpass filter and have 3 instances in one with on/off buttons. I think then it'll be better than Milli Vinylli. If you can do that, it'll be my #1 static device.

because I bet you anything you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between TV white noise and synthesizer white noise, UNLESS you were playing with the cable to record a kind of poppy farty staticy noise that could only come from a TV.

Reception might be what your after, it's really an FSU style effect, but it's also got a button that emitts white noise.
